Retal View Resort El Sokhna Aqua Park

The Retal View offers elegantly decorated rooms and suites in the Ain El Sokhna area, on the shores of the Suez Gulf. It features a private beach area and free Wi-Fi in Lobby area.

First time in my life I was looking forward to check out as soon as I checked in.

The only thing we enjoyed is the sea and Swimming pool and slides, life guard's of swimming pool very friendly and attentive. Receptionist Musa was very nice and professional. I was surprised, but dinner was really delicious with wide variety of food every day.

Dirty rooms and. Shower was full of sand when we checked in, no hot water, no towels, no bottled water,,, no in room internet ..Hard to find the hotel due to road works and please be aware that entrance to this hotel is through Lasirena Hotel entrance, this is very important information that haven't been shared with the guests on a website, that made us drive around for long time because there are no any signs of Retal View Hotel

I wouldn't return

The beach, aqua park and the food

Not cleaning rooms on a daily basis , AC was not working properly and only on my last day of stay they changed the room for me, housekeeping never cleaned the room unless I asked them, the sheets were very dirty until i asked them to change, it took them a while to bring towels to the room. Staff are not professional on their job, they are friendly yes, but not professional.

Good for a short stay

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mr. Abdullah from the reservation department arranged a late dinner for us as we were arriving after 9 pm. Mr. Ahmed, front desk manager, and Mr. Mousa, front desk supervisor, made a check-in process fast and smooth. Restaurant personnel provided and warmed up dinner, specifically reserved for us. Mr.Kareem, the lifeguard from the swimming pool, does his job diligently, making sure guests feel convenient and happy. I would like to thank these staff members and wish them to be noticed and promoted. The water slides are safe, with no sharp connections. Beach is nice and sandy. Just there is 1 meter of stones at the beginning of the sea, and there is sand further.

The hotel itself and the furniture is quite old, it would be nice to renovate. The room was clean, but bathroom and swimming pool could be cleaner. Food was average. Water slides work just from 10 to 1 and from 3 to 5. Sea is shallow; I had to walk 50 meters for swimming. Overall the beach is nice.

Very poor and do not respect guests

The reservations and the hotel process doesnt respect the guests who reserved and travelled a distance to the hotel to suddenly be informed that his 2 rooms that were reserved suffered from problems at the same time and have no solution except that u must stay ( 4 persons) in 1 sweet with shared bathroom. If we wanted we would have reserve this sweet But : we reserved 2 rooms for privacy... Secondly why we were not informed about the problem although the hotel guy was calling me 1 day ago. The receptionist were not keen about finding a solution and they didnt care and were not aware of that they must be sorry I will not come again to this hotel

Very poor and disappointed the photos on the booking.com are no where near what the resorLois like

My kids enjoyed the swimming pool because of the slides but the photos on booking.com for this hotel is no where near what it actually looks like

Our family room was very dirty the kitchenette was disgustingly dirty the bathroom was no better needs to be cleaned properly and updated

Could have been better

Food quality was beyond my expectations compared to the rest of the hotel facilities, it was actually tasty, fresh, and an acceptable level of available options. Beach is good compared to similar hotels in the area, aqua park and pool are small but enough for a quick family vacation. The animation / entertainment program in the evenings was lovely.

The hotel called me to transfer part of the money to their bank account about a week prior to my stay, I didn't like this especially that they have my credit card number in my booking -which should be enough in case of no show. The room was barely clean when I checked in, they actually did some efforts when I complained and took care of it to a much better status -yet it was still below the bar compared to similar hotels -especially a weird smell coming from the bathroom sink.

- Breakfast was not good ( limited variety and bad quality of some items) - Hotel Had a company trip same time which make it so noisy and my wife could not use the pool due to the crowd ( some of them used the pool with their clothes not swimsuits) - Refrigerator was not working, but staff replaced it in 15 minutes - Beach has slot of rocks

Definitely not a great stay for a non Egyptian!

Hmm..not much to like really! Sorry!

The room was meant to be a sweet but it didnt look like it. It was so dusty and bathroom definitely needed more hygiene. The room key/card needed activation every now and then because it would just stop working for no reason and we'd have to go all the way down to reception to sort. Secondly, the food was good until my husband found a fly in his rice and chicken plate! Also, when you're a foreigner, it's just too difficult going to this resort/hotel as people (staff & Egyptian guests) would be starring at you weirdly for wearing a swimsuit! I mean, if this hotel/Resort is only for Egyptians they should mention that before people book as it's definitely not foreign friendly. They should atleast expect to see females with swimsuit because it's by the seaside!They are just not open minded at all especially staff! I will definitely avoid this place and go to Sharm El Sheik next time where I can swim and enjoy the sun with out people starring at me like a crazy person.

kids enjoyed the water pool with aqua park. umbrella and chairs at beach are nice.

location is very near to toll gate has two pools dinner has roasting chicken and meat. meat and chicken are very fresh, but limited supply.

food is very salty, dinner has no water supply, we bought a bottle by 15LE. parking is very small and parking security stuff was not friendly no good cake and sweets supply if compare with other hotel. cleanness needs to improve.

The man at the reception tries to thief 2 dollars from every reservation or give different dollar rate than the bank, i tried paying in dollars and in egp and in both cases he wanted to thief 2 dollars The beach has no barriers at sides and poor people could sneak to the see from the sides of the beach

This hotel is good for families with kids.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility is only 1 1/2 hours from Cairo.

The facility needs maintenance. This hotel doesn't serve alcoholic beverages and not suitable for tourists. The area lacks other activities beside the beach and the swimming pool.
